This idea would be very nice for camping trips, for young people who might want to try a tin foil reflector oven in front of a fire or maybe even in a dutch oven. For adults... coating the ham in honey/mustard sauce ( 1 tbs mustard, 1 tbs honey and 1/2 teaspoon vinegar )first would add a little punch.

These are delicous! We have them regularly! We use chopped up lunch meat and some seasonings like dill or garlic! Very tasty! Thank you!

These are great for a throw-together quick appetizer. I could see making these for a late night snack, or even breakfast. I used ham and cheese as your recipe stated, my 10 yo dd used pepperoni, cheese and pizza sauce for her own little pizza pockets. I added some parmesan cheese on top before baking too. Thanks for posting.

I really liked these - they were like 'hot pockets' only soooo much better! I used sliced honey ham, torn into pieces and co-jack cheese. I had to bake for 15 minutes for them to get browned. Dipped in homemade honey mustard dressing. I can see using this idea with lots of other fillings or splitting the biscuits into two layers and making smaller, appetizer size pockets. Thanks for posting!

I made these, added a dab of dijon mustard, and served them as an appetizer. Everyone enjoyed them!
