Serve while hot!
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1⁄2 cup cheddar cheese, grated
- 2 teaspoons horseradish, drained
- 1 tablespoon sherry wine
- 1⁄2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
- Combine all ingredients; spread on party-sized bread, toast cut-outs or crackers and broil until golden brown.
I have made some similar recipes, and we liked these a lot. Next time I'll probably leave out the sherry (didn't add much) use less horseradish, and maybe add green onions or some garlic. If you have the bacon on hand (I keep some frozen on hand) this is a really easy appetizer. I used toasted baguette slices and it was yummy!
