Meat Mixture
- 1 1⁄2 lbs ground beef
- 1⁄4 cup dry breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons barbecue sauce
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon salt

Filling Mixture
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1⁄4 cup dry breadcrumbs
- 1⁄4 cup chopped green pepper
- 2 tablespoons water
directions
- Combine all the ingredients listed for the meat mixture.
- Mix well.
- Shape into an 8x14 rectangle on foil or a piece of plastic wrap.
- Combine all the ingredients listed for the filling mixture.
- Pat cheese mixture over meat.
- Roll up in jellyroll fashion and chill overnight or for several hours.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Slice meat roll into 6 rolls.
- Bake in a shallow pan for 25 to 30 minutes.
