Cheddar Cheese Cookies

"Yummy and easy recipe for a great appetizer. Serve with Tabasco. Prep time includes chill time."

ingredients

• 1⁄4 cup butter or 1/4 cup margarine
• 1⁄4 teaspoon oregano
• 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
• 1⁄4 teaspoon pepper
• 1⁄4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
• 1⁄4 teaspoon garlic powder
• 2 tablespoons minced onions
• 1 cup flour
• 1 cup cheddar cheese
• 1⁄4 cup milk (or more if needed)

directions

1. melt butter with the first 7 ingredients.
2. take off of heat, and stir in the flour.
3. Pour into a medium sized bowl.
4. Mix in cheese.
5. Add as much milk to form a log.
6. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
7. Cut log into cookie sized circles, and place on greased cookie sheet.
8. Bake in a 400 degree oven for 20 minutes.
