Soooo goood... and pretty easy to put together. I was worried about how thick the batter was, but there was nothing to worry about. I used buttermilk because that's all I had and it worked perfectly!

Delicious! Slightly sweet, very moist. Didn't have walnuts, so used almonds instead. I'll make this again. Diane

Nice recipe! I used half white flour and half whole wheat, and walnuts. I also added 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper to give it a little kick...next time I'll use a full teaspoon. This is a dense heavy loaf, perfect for brunch or breakfast. A little soft cream cheese on top is nice. Thanks for the recipe! Very easy to make!
