I found this in a Rachael Ray cookbook. This looks fabulous!
- 1 loaf French bread, split lengthwise, then cut in half
- 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
- 10 fresh chives, chopped
- Heat broiler.
- Lightly toast bread under hot broiler.
- Remove and cover with shredded cheese.
- Sprinkle with chopped chives and set aside.
- Return bread to broiler to melt cheese.
- When cheese is bubbly and lightly browned, remove from broiler and serve.
