- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 3⁄4 cup milk
- 1 (18 1/4 ounce) package lemon cake mix
- 4 eggs
- In mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Gradually beat in milk. Add dry cake mix and eggs; beat until combined. Beat on medium speed for 2 minutes.
- Pour into a greased and floured, 1- inch fluted tube pan. Bake at 350°F for 40 to 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near center comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pan. Cool completely on a wire rack.
Very easy to make and tasty. I did what another person said and microwaved half of a store bought lemon frosting and drizzled it on the cake. I will be making this again. Thank you for sharing
Turned out great! Very moist and yummy. I microwaved a half a can of storebought lemon frosting and poured over the top. Thanks for posting -- this was just what I was looking for.
