Excellent recipe,easy to make. I double the sauce. I'm makeing for the second time. the flavors meld wonderfully.

This was good! I added .5 oz of Frieda's steak blend dried mushrooms as suggested by Abby...because I already had them on hand. I'm sure it will be great w/o as well. Will make again!
This is an excellent recipe, very easy to use. The second time I tried this, I used dried wild mushrooms that gave it an earthy taste. Very impressive

I found a similar recipe, though for a smaller roast, before I saw this reply, so I did not try it. YET! Actually, this one souonds even easier, because the one I used called for a true bernaise sause, which "breaks" very easily. With the mustard cofnac sause, it wouldn't break. Added to my cookbook for next time I feel extravagent.
This was a good basic recipe.
