YUM! Even my picky children loved it. Thanks for the recipe!
This is a great recipe. Next time I will make it at least a day ahead. It's much better really cold and married. Next time I'll try to quarter the grapes. I used mayo too.
This is the best chicken salad I have ever had. I didn't use miracle whip, instead I used real mayonnaise, and only a little more than what the recipe called for, just to give it the right consistency. I also didn't add any nuts to it. Seriously a fantastic recipe!!! This one is going to be a regular in our house.
Loved it!! Very easy to prepare, and the flavors are wonderful!
Amazing flavors and so simple to make. I will definitely be making this again!!
Family favorite! I use half mayo and half miracle whip...
my wife said that this was the best chiken salad that i ever made !<br/>substituted 3 large green onions minced,3/4 cup hellmans mayo, one large cup crushed pecans ,and 1and1/4 cups green grapes quartered.Cudos to charlie.
This was my first time ever making chicken salad, but I knew I wanted it to taste like my mother-n-law's and this recipe looked like it would. I'm not a fan of Miracle Whip so I used real mayo and used half white and half red seedless grapes and added Craisons. It was wonderful, and the whole family loved it. Next time I think I'll mix the mayo and Miracle Whip half and half to see if I can get it just a smidge more tangy. Thanks so much for the recipe Sherri :o)
Wow. All I can say is wow. Absolutely the best chicken salad I have ever had. So many chicken/shrimp salad recipes are dominated by the ick factor, that slippery slimy sensation of a mouthful of mayo. But this salad, though it calls for Miracle Whip (or mayo) is counterbalanced by the perfect amount of crunch because of the crisp/sweet red grapes, nuts, and celery. A true keeper.
