OMG!!! was this terrific. I used red seedless grapes and pecans. I did roast the pecans before adding them. It looked so tasty and tasted yummy. It was hot the day when I served this and it was a wonderful summer dish. Thank you so much for posting it. I will diffidently be making this again.
Count me among the fans of this famous chicken salad. I made one very minor change in that I used mayonnaise instead of miracle wip as I do not care for miracle wip. I used smoked chicken and thought the light smoky flavor went great with the grapes. Thanks for a recipe that will now be a staple in our house.
Very good recipe! Used real mayo cuz that's what I had on hand...and also snipped 2 green onions instead of regular onions cuz I just don't like to crunch down on raw onion. Besides those adjustments, followed recipe as written and let it sit in fridge overnight before eating. It was incredible and everyone loved it. Even 5 & 6 year old niece & nephew! Not sure if anyone else made their own chicken....but for those looking to do this, I had great success with putting 2 frozen chicken breasts in small crockpot with 4 cups of chicken stock & let cook for 3 hours, then cube. Very tasty & easy!
Tried it exactly as recipe was written. I have to say I didn't care for the Worcestershire. My plan is to try it again using 1/4 tsp. Worcestershire and add a bit of mayo to the miracle whip. I love the combination of nuts & grapes in a chicken salad!
It is very very nice. I made it according to the recipe but used mayo and yogurt. Taking it for potluck dinner although I'm tempted to leave some in the fridge for myself.
This is definitely my go-to chicken salad. The balance of savory and sweet is perfect! I use real mayo (we don't do Miracle Whip) and cut back on the salt. My teen boys INHALE this stuff.
I used chicken from a can, light mayo, and some pepper. I absolutely loved this recipe!! Had it on toasted oatmeal bread. Will definitely make this again. My 14 yr old son devoured it !!
YUM! Even my picky children loved it. Thanks for the recipe!
This is a great recipe. Next time I will make it at least a day ahead. It's much better really cold and married. Next time I'll try to quarter the grapes. I used mayo too.
