Berries & Champagne Punch

"Another champagne punch perfect for showers. This one uses champagne and wine. I have made it for 3 showers now and people tell me it is the best one they have ever had. Really pretty with strawberries or raspberries floating in it- use frozen ones and it helps keep it cold."

directions

  • Combine all in a large punch bowl or if you don't have one, combine it all in a large clean pot and serve it in pitchers.
  • Add the frozen fruit just before serving. The mint can be left in the punch bowl or removed just before serving but it adds a wonderful flavor so don't leave it out.

Questions & Replies

  1. I can’t seem to find frozen cranberry juice concentrate, only cranberry juice cocktail loaded with sugar. What can I substitute?

  1. I made this for a bridal shower last night and everyone loved it. It is very refreshing and not overpowering sweet. Many asked for the recipe so here I am printing it for everyone! :)

  2. This was a cinch to make, beautiful to display and delicious!! I made 2 batches for a shower with about 40-50 guests and ran out after 2 hours - should have made a 3rd batch. I recommend adding the wine and the mint, both added nice flavor! I also made ginger ale ice cubes to keep the punch cool but not water it down; worked well!

  3. Made this for Christmas Day and everyone loved it!!! Adding the frozen fruit, we used raspberries, is a great way to keep it chilled without watering it down. Definitely a keeper!

  5. This was a hit at the bridal shower I hosted! Had several requests for the recipe.

Tweaks

  1. Another 5 stars!! Perfect ratings for a perfect punch! I first enjoyed it at JaeElles wedding (yum!) - then I made it for a wine tasting party I was having. It was a HUGE hit! For those of you familiar with Tastefully Simple products, I substituted the pink lemonade for Tastefully Simple Prickly Pear Cooler (6 scoops).

I live in sunny So. Cal with my hubbie and two daughters. We live close to the beach and spend as much time there as possible- especially my husband who surfs as much as possible! We love to go camping, travel to Hawaii and hang out around the house with friends and neighbors (when I'm not shuttling kids here and there!) I enjoy cooking and have a passion for cookbooks, but since I found this website and allrecipes.com I can't find an excuse to buy any more!
