Chambord Black Raspberry Brownies

"Chambord is a liqueur, created in the image of a raspberry liqueur from the Loire Valley in the 17th century. I've not tried this recipe, but plan to make it SOON! Taken from Chambord website and posted for ZWT."

  • Preheat oven to 350°F Line a 9” by 13" baking pan with nonstick foil. Combine cake mix, eggs, oil, water, and Chambord Liqueur.
  • Fold in semi-sweet chocolate chips.
  • Pour into prepared baking pan and smooth.
  • Bake 35-40 minutes.
  • Cool to room temperature before cutting.
  • Dust with confectioners sugar (optional) and slice brownies into 3" squares. Top with ice cream and 3-4 ounces of Chambord. (optional).

  1. A really nice brownie recipe! I don't know that I necessarily tasted the Chambord, but the brownies were chocolatey rich and moist. I would definitely make these again. They're so easy to throw together. Thanks for sharing! Made for ZWT 8.

Someone special recently gifted me with membership ~ I don't know who, but know they are special :D! Thank you! It is much appreciated.... My parents owned a grocery store when I was growing up, so there's my love of FOOD! My friends all love to drink, so there's my profession! I stopped bartending 5 years ago, when my son was born, but still 'do' private parties. DH and I did a 'Supper Club' for a while, but life kept getting in the way! I am a SAHM, to a rambunctious 5 y.o....I LOVE cooking and collect cookbooks and anything kitchen related! I'm kinda picky, but will just drop an ingredient or make a sub, so I can still try a recipe. I'm looking forward to many years of enjoyment here, and hope to participate in some events soon!
