I followed the recipe. The dough was very dense when I removed it from the bread machine. I let it rise and baked it at 350 F for 30 minutes. The taste is great but it's the texture too dense. Thanks Chia :) Made for I recommend tag game

my husband recently surprised me w/ a ABM & I was excited to find this recipe here to make for him because he loves Challah and especially wanted it for french toast...I adapted the recipe to vegan diet w/ hemp milk (w/ hint of vanilla), Ener-G-egg replacer and Earth Balance...used awesome raw local honey and LOVED the results...makes good sammy & snack bread & he loved the french toast he made a couple of days later too!!! Thanks Chia :)...will go on our regular menu rotation here...:)

I made this with my KitchenAid as I don't have a bread maker. It came out really well! It rose nicely and had a slight sweet taste. Thanks, Chia!

I have never had much success with sweet breads on the bread machine but I am happy to report that this was the exception. It rose nicely and had a rich slightly sweet flavour (I have never tried challah bread before) and was lovely in sandwiches and with a sweet spread.
