Chai & Raisin Oatmeal (Porridge)

This is adapted from a recipe I found on Mr Breakfast. The chai instant drink mix is not available here in Australia but I was lucky enough to be given some in a swap. This is so delicious in your morning porridge, really comforting on a cold morning.

  1. Combine all ingredients and cook for 1 1/2 mins in the microwave stirring after 1 minute.

Wow!! I love simple recipes that taste great, and this is one of them. I made this for my husband and I for breakfast this morning and we both loved it, what a great combination of flavours! Made for ZWT 4 :)

This was very tasty! And I don't really like chai. I loved the speed of this (I am always on the lookout for fast breakfasts), and the flavor was really good. I used a storebrand Vanilla Chai mix (I couldn't find the GF one), and I know that I will finish the container, even if I only use it to make this recipe! :) Made for ZWT4, thanks for posting.

Delicious, simple and fast hearty breakfast. Thank you for posting this, Mandy! I used Pacific Chai decaffeinated instant chai latte asit is what I had on hand and it worked perfectly, as well as zante currants in place of regular raisins. Made for ZWT4.
