ingredients
- 1 1⁄2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 tablespoon chai tea mix
- 1⁄8 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1⁄2 cup light brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 large eggs
- 1⁄2 cup milk

- 1⁄2 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
directions
- preheat oven 350 degrees. Combine dry ingredients in small bowl. Beat in butter, brown sugar, and vanilla in a medium bowl with an electric mixer. Add eggs one at a time, beating until just blended. On low speed add dry ingredients and milk. bake for 20-25 minutes.
- Topping: Beat cream until thickened (adding chai flavoring if desired) spoon the thickened cream on top of each cupcake and dust tops with cinnamon.
