I'd skip the salt. Bleu cheese is plenty salty. Fresh organic celery from the farmer's market. I included the hearts and leaves for that extra dose of pizazz and red onion for color. Special mention: Rogue Creamerys 'Crater Lake' award-winning bleu cheese. Amazing! Reviewed for ZWT #6.

Nice salad. I love all the ingredients so it was no surprise. I really enjoyed the coarse sea salt and wouldn't pass it up.

I had no doubt that this would be delicious. Celery and blue cheese are a classic combination. This is so simple, yet it's a perfect side dish when you want something different. I recommend serving this with anything you'd serve coleslaw with. It begs to be a side for BBQ chicken! Thanx for a new unique side salad!

Three ingredients that aren't basic seasoning but so much flavour! I too think it doesn't need salt in the future because the cheese has such a salty nature but that is personal taste. I used British Stilton as the cheese and loved the rich taste against the clean crisp of the celery. Made for Zee Zany Zesty Cookz for the Family Picks portion of ZWT 6.

Sharon - another winner! I know this is my go-to wonderful place to go for the best of the best recipes, and this is no exception. I also added the red onion, but not necessary. I could eat this all day and night! Made for ZWT 6!

I added red onion to this, too, as mentioned by previous reviewers. We all enjoyed this salad today as part of a Scandinavian lunch-feast. Thanks.

Wow! So simple and very tasty! I was also craving celery and blue cheese and this hit the spot. I think next time I may add some red onion...overall, a definite keeper. Thanks for sharing!

I served this lovely & easy-fix salad as part of a salad-relish dish, mainly to add a veggie + color & texture to a simple meal of oven-baked fish fillets & parslied potatoes. It was the simplest part of the meal, but the star of it. It is creamy-rich & packed w/flavor + crunch. I added red onion as suggested by another reviewer & liked that a lot. Great recipe, Sharon. Thx for sharing it w/us. :-)

Beautiful and simple. I added balsamic vinegar (just a splash) and think it adds good contrast. I think adding red onion and walnuts would really step it up as well.

Okay so the cheese I used was feta, the salad was wonderful. The coarse sea salt and black pepper are a must. I made this in the morning and enjoyed it well chilled at lunch. The combination of textures make this most enjoyable. The crunch of the celery combined with the creaminess of the cheese made this a great side to serve with my sandwich at lunch.

Isn't it funny how the simplest ingredients make the best recipes? I loved this salad for the ease in the making and the crispness of the celery next to the creaminess of the blue cheese. Used Clemson Blue Cheese (the best, in my opinion). Made for Beverage Tag.
