We used to eat this at a pizza restaurant in Lakeland, Florida. I loved it as a kid. This recipe is from memory, so might not be exactly the same.

Directions

  1. Combine dressing ingredients and toss 1/2 of the mixture with the spinach.
  2. Arrange all remaining ingredients on top of dressed spinach.
  3. Serve remaining dressing on side.

Excellent Spinach Salad. I did add a little extra Splenda to the dressing for personal preference, and left off the bacon but other than that made as directed. Used recipe #142857 to make Pumpernickel Bread then made my own toasted crouton's. Those were a nice addition if you like Pumpernickel Bread. Don't really care for it, but toasted was much better. Thanks for sharing. Will make again with different croutons. Made for My Three Chefs. :)
