Loved this cauliflower dish, did cut it into florets and added a bit more yoghurt and some vegetable stock to get more sauce. I added the lemon together with the yoghurt. Liked the chilies for the spicyness and being a cheese lover I probably used a bit more then the amount given in the recipe.

This was the main course for our dinner tonight. I microwaved the cauliflower in a flat dish at HIGH for 16 minutes(as after the first 8 minutes, it was still not tender enough). I omitted the green chillies and cheese altogether as we're cutting down on spices and fats(due to health reasons). I used a total of 1 tsp. salt for this recipe. I noticed that you've forgotten to mention when to add the lemon juice. I added it in step 9, i.e., alongwith the cilantro. I used alot more cilantro than called for - I used about 5 tbsps.(of which, I added 3 tbsps. in this step and the rest I used as a garnish) It added alot of colour and flavour to the dish and we love it anyways:) A special ingredient I quite like that I used in this recipe is dried kasoori methi. I added it alongwith all the other masala powders(i.e., after step 6). Here's a tip for those who try this recipe in future - For getting the real aroma and taste of kasoori methi(dried), crumbling it between the palms of your hands is the best thing to do before adding it to the skillet(I crumble it over the skillet in order to save washing another plate.LOL). After step 9, I added in the cauliflower that had been cooked in the microwave for 16 mins. and then set aside. I mixed it in nicely into the prepared mixture, covered it with a lid and cooked on 'low' flame(as it's dry and there was no gravy as such) for 10 minutes. I had most of this "To die for cauliflower" with pao and a little with white Basmati rice. My parents enjoyed it with hot rotis. Hot cauliflower and hot rotis on this cold breezy night was the best thing a daughter could do for her parents(In my not so humble opinion). LOL... Your recipe is one that will be a regular now on on our table. A million thanks, Aunty Honeybee, for posting this! UPDATE: After a very long time, I made this dish last night for dinner. My dad suggested adding 2 medium potatoes, chopped into cubes, the next time I make this. He feels it would give more taste to the recipe altogether. This time I cut the cauliflower into florets before microwaving it for 16 minutes. I think its easier to cook it this way{i.e. cut into florets}.

Loved it. I made it as posted with one addition. I took a tip from another poster and added dried methi leaves. I love the taste of kasoori methi, so this put the recipe right up there for me! What a delicious cauliflower dish.
