Even before this stew has had a chance to mellow for 6 hrs (or overnight, as I'm planning), the flavor is incredible. Rich, complex, exquisite. The color is beautiful; a deep red, appetizing and jewel-like. I loved the few spoonfuls I had and can't wait until my entire bowl of it tomorrow. ETA: I used beef stew meat. Gravy is a liquid.
