      I made two batches of these last night, one with almonds and the other with cashews, and left out the saffron (my kids don't appreciate the good things in life). The almond batch was gone in 3 hours, the cashew batch by this morning. I also baked them on parchment paper in a medium over for about an hour, and they came out great!

      Charishma! These were fantastic! Definitely worth the cooking time. The only problem I had was that I added too much milk. When I used my heart shaped cookie cutter they came out ok...until they went into the pan; then they kind of ran into a circle shape. That's okay though, they were delicious. I had leftover batter and the next night I did them in the oven as Mirj did. Yum! Definitely will make again, and also will try with almonds. Thanx for the suggestion to make these!
