Got this from another site. Great with Chicken Fried Steaks and a salad.


  1. Bring water to a boil. Add boullion. Stir to dissolve. Add carrots and rice, return to boiling.
  2. Reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and let stand for 5 minutes.
