Got this from another site. Great with Chicken Fried Steaks and a salad.
- 2 cups water
- 1 bouillon cubes or 1 teaspoon instant bouillon granules
- 1 carrot, shredded
- 1 cup uncooked rice
- Bring water to a boil. Add boullion. Stir to dissolve. Add carrots and rice, return to boiling.
- Reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let stand for 5 minutes.
