Tropical side dish.
- 1 cup water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups carrots, thinly sliced
- 8 ounces crushed pineapple, undrained
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch, blended with 2 Tbsp. water
- Bring water and salt to a boil; add carrots; cover and cook 10 minutes until crisp tender.
- Stir in pineapple; cook 5 minutes.
- Add cornstarch. Cook and stir until thickened and clear.
