This diabetic salad is pretty tasty
Make and share this Carrot Raisin Salad recipe from Food.com.
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1⁄4 cup milk
- 1⁄2 tablespoon vinegar
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1 cup brown rice, cooked
- 3 carrots, grated (about a cup)
- 1⁄3 cup dark raisin
- Mix mayonnaise and milk.
- Add honey and vinegar.
- Add to rice, carrots and raisings. Mix well.
- Can store 3-4 days in the fridge.
A nice melange of tastes and textures. As a diabetic it is great to be able to find such tasty recipes that don't make me fell as if I'm sacrificing anyuthing. Thanks!
