My family loved this bread. Since the last comment suggested 4 c. flour was too much, I thought I'd use 3 c., but then added another half cup because it was all too wet. I'd say 4 cups would have been fine, but producing a denser loaf. I think the next time I make it, I'll add one more Tbsp of honey, but other than that, this recipe is a definite keeper. Also, one hint is to soak the raisins in warm water for about 20 minutes prior to adding, in order to ensure they are nice and plump (and not chewy) in the bread. Delicious!

This makes a delicious bread.... one slight problem though. It always overflows in the bread machine. I either have to use the rapid setting which creates a denser loaf or pull the dough out and bake in the oven.

there is a major problem with this recipe. I used canadian all purpose flour and ended up with a loaf that pushed the lid of my Black and Decker Pro. open.I got a huge mushroom shaped loaf that was under cooked. I believe that it should read 3 cups of bread flour. Lets talk about it

Carrot-Raisin-Nut Bread (bread machine)
