I really liked this and polled the eaters on their thoughts...only thing that could make it better would be a cream cheese or confectioners sugar glaze. The poppy seeds really made the texture interesting. Thanks for posting.

Sharon this cake is wonderful! I increased the cinnamon to 2 teaspoons and the sugar to 1 cup, I think I might increase it even more next time and mabey try half white and brown, thanks for a great cake recipe I will make again soon!...Kitten:)
