I simply love this! Sunflower seeds are my latest addicition(ever since I had them for the first time in Pizza Hut here in FL, USA). Peanuts have been my all-time favourite nuts and chocolate is what the 'C' in my name stands for. When I saw this recipe, I simply put it together and voila! It is ADDICTIVE! I will have to go make some more because my dad is enjoying this just as much as I am:-) Thank you for sharing such a fun and easy to fix goodie!
I made this for vacation to take into theparks with us and this was perfect. I used craisins and it was great. I liked the combo of salty and sweet. Thank you for posting.
DH loved this! I used M&M's with peanuts because they are his favorite and dried cherries. So good and easy to put together! A great snack and I will be making it again and again! Thanks Mg for posting!
I made this with out the sunflower seeds. This will be great on the long car trip to my grandma's house. :)
This is such an excellent mix to take camping. We love to feed the nuts, seeds and raisins to the chipmunks too! They are so cute when they stuff their little cheeks. And that saves all the M&M's for me!! Thanks for posting this recipe and I hope everyone loves it as much as we do in our family.
Addicting is right! Made this for a road trip BF and I went on and we both loved it. It's totally filling and the sweet and salty is perfect. I used dried cranberries and a mix of peanut and regular M&Ms for an excellent mix of flavors. Thanks!
This was great! I made up a batch of this for our family vacation. It was so great to have for the long car ride. I carried plastic cups along and passed out servings to my kids whenever they shouted that they were hungry! So easy and yummy!
We always make this for road trips. It is so filling and it satisfies any cravings we might have so we can avoid Gas station snacking (you know, grabbing chocolate bars, bags of chips, etc.) I have never used sunflower seeds before, but that might be a really nice addition. For ease of measuring, I always get a can of planter's salted peanuts, a box of raisins (not the small individual boxes, but one size up) and the big bag of M&M's. The longer it sits the better it tastes.
