I make this rub to go on my Carne Asada. I did not include salt but salt the meat to taste. Note, Pasilla Chili Powder is the same as Ancho Chili Powder.

Amazing ingredients in this rub! I used it on NY Strip steaks, then sliced thinly after grilling. Served with grilled red bell peppers and onions on a tortilla, garnished with guacamole, sour cream and salsa. I was surprised by how much I loved this rub.....tasting it on its own, I was a little scared of the final outcome. But this turned out great on a strip steak. Made for PAC Spring 2011!
