Excellent, wonderful flavor. I used flank steak and marinated for about 6 hours. Next time I might add some minced garlic and white wine to the marinade. Thanks :> Made for ZWT7 Golden Gourmets.
This was good. I couldn't taste much flavor from the marinade, & though the meat was tender I don't know that it was any more so than usual. I marinated it for about an hour and half using my Vacu Seal marinater. Made for ZWT 7 for the Food.commnados
This is so yummy. The steak was in the marinade for probably only 6 hours. It turned out so good and juicy. DH cooked the onions on the bbq and I was lucky to have them all cause I'm the only one to love onions :) Thanks Nif :) Made for Count Dracula and His Hot Bites for ZWT7
I scaled this back for 1 steak for myself and used the juice of 1 navel orange, 1/16th cup olive oil, 1 medium onion and salt and pepper and the result was a beautifully moist piece of sirloin with lovely flavour and onions to kill for, would definately recommended cooking them up to go with your steak. Really good! I used a skirt steak and marinated it over night. Loved how the flavors melded - especially the citrus. So simple, quick to fix, and delicious. Thanks Nif for another keeper. (btw - diner recommended this recipe to me!). Made for ZWT7 for the Emerald City Shakers.
I knew from looking at the ingredients that this would be good but really surprised how much I loved this steak, especially with so few ingredients!! I made this using skirt steak and 2 large oranges and did add some garlic salt along with the other seasonings. I marinated the steak for about 6-7 hours. I decided to take out the onion from the marinade and put it in a foil packet along with a dab of butter and grilled them along with the steak. This steak was so tender and flavorful, just loved it!!! Thanks for sharing the recipe. Made for ZWT 7.
