This, along with Aunt Violet's hot cakes were always served on Sunday. Rara in Swedish mean rare and in rare steak. LOL Don't worry they aren't pink in the middle.
- Beat the eggs and the milk or cream.
- Over low heat melt the butter in a heavy frying pan.
- Add the eggs.
- Slowly keep scraping the bottom of the pan with a large spoon. Don't walk away.
- When the eggs are creamy just set serve.
Thank you so much for posting this recipe. All of my life I have eaten my scrambled eggs exactly this way - right down to warning the cook to "keep those eggs moving in the pan and don't walk away!" I never knew that my Swedish ancestors were probably eating theirs this way too. Talk about genetic memory! And they are indeed yummy. I will accept my eggs no other way!
