  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Mash yams with bananas, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. Place in a greased baking dish.
  4. Sprinkle with brown sugar.
  5. Mix nuts and corn flakes.
  6. Sprinkle over casserole.
  7. Drizzle with melted butter.
  8. Bake 45-50 minutes.

I loved the topping, the macadamia nuts were better than pecans which I've used in other sweet potato dishes. The cinnamon made it taste similar to pumpkin pie. The only thing I wasn't too crazy about was all the bananas. They were a little slimey. I will make this dish again, because of the macadamia nuts, but I will use only one or no banana.
