Carianne's Pepperoncini Beef (For Burritos)

I Had El Sobrante Girl's recipe for Pepperonicini and Shredded Beef (#117646) on the menu, but realized I didn't have the soup mixo or the au jus mix, so I decided to do an experiment. WOW! This was sooooo good in burritos -- it will be something that I cook often!

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 3 lbs beef tri-tip steak
  • 10 ounces pepperoncini peppers (sliced, I used the yummy garlicy ones from Trader joe's)
  • 12 ounces mexican beer
  • 1 red onion, diced

Directions

  1. Put everything in a crockpot on low for 7 or 8 hours.
  2. Seperate the meat into strips and enjoy with fresh tortillas!
