I love a nice sweet lassi, love cardamom and when I saw this contained almonds, I knew I would be trying this out. I used ground almonds as I have plenty of that and it worked well. Excellent way of sneaking almonds into the diet. I used lime instead of lemon which also worked well. A very nice variation on the lassi theme.

Directions

  1. In a blender bowl, put half cup of water, yogurt, sugar, cardamom, almonds and salt.
  2. Cover.
  3. Blend thoroughly.
  4. Add the remaining water and lemon juice.
  5. Blend again.
  6. Serve chilled.
