This is an easy and quick recipe for apple syrup, and it tasted good (needed a little more cardamom for us), but was a bit too thick. I would cut cornstarch to 1/2-3/4 tablespoon. Made for Spring 2010 PAC.

  1. combine cornstarch and cardamom in saucepan, whisk in apple cider slowly.
  2. bring to a boil over medium heat, continue whisking until mixture thickens (3 minutes).
  3. remove from heat, serve over pancakes.
