Tasty topping for fish, chicken, steaks. I top my salmon with these and, mmmmm, it makes one delicious dish.

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 -2 onion, finely sliced
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar (red-wine vinegar is okay)
  • 2 teaspoons brown sugar

Directions

  1. Place in saucepan, put the lid on and cook over very low heat for 15-20 minutes, stirring often.
  2. Done when onions are soft and clear.
