Recipe by Julesong
This recipe was given to me by my friend Althaea. She says, "it's right up there with sex, in my book."
- 2 lbs brie round
- 1⁄4 cup brown sugar
- 4 -5 granny smith apples or 4 -5 braeburn apples, cored and sliced into thin wedges
Directions See How It's Made
- Take your wheel of brie and cut off the top crust only (with about a 1-inch perimeter left on to help it hold its shape).
- Sprinkle the top lightly with brown sugar, then put it under the broiler for just a minute or two- watching constantly so that it doesn't burn- until the sugar melts, and then remove it.
- Serve with thin slices of Granny Smith or Braeburn apples.
