Only read one other review that happened to me. I followed the recipe to a "T", doubling the ingredients since I had 14 chicken legs. They ended up just "floating" in the sauce and while they were edible, certainly not up to the praise everyone else was giving.
Really good! I made it for dinner tonight. I actually marinaded it from this morning in the sauce and threw everything into a baking dish when I got home in the evening. I baked it for about 55 minutes instead of the recommended 45 but I had another tray of potatoes on the rack above so it may have needed more time because of that. I would definitely make again And surprised that it came out so tasty!
I skinned my chicken and reduced the soy sauce to 1/4 cup but even with that the sauce was so thin there was nothing on the chicken after 52 minutes. I basted the legs a lot at that point, then raised temp to 375 and put in for another 8 minutes. The legs had a little color then, but nothing like in the picture.
A-MAAAA-ZING!!!! we will definately be making this again - - - - - - & again & again! i made it in a large roasting dish and added the vegies in along the way ~ 1 dish ~ fab, tasty meal!!
what do you think trying this with a roast, and make sliders with it, I think this will taste pretty good.
I'm making this for 2nd time, family loved it so much the first time! easy and great!
So easy and so delicious! It's a keeper that's for sure!
Oh my gosh was this delicious. I made this with legs and can't wait until I make it with wings. It was delicious. I had some sauce left in the pan. I saved it and put it on pork chops the next day. Yummy!! Thanks for such a wonderful recipe. I will make this often.
Great recipe bit !modified to my families taste for barbeque. I used BBQ sauce with just a tad of ketchup & equal parts soy & honey & did not add the salt & pepper as the soy has plenty of salt & BBQ sauce has enough spices. Baked for the 1 hour 35 min, turning them 1/2 way through to marinate both sides while cooking, & topped with a little bit of straight BBQ sauce, & broiled for about 2 minutes. Yumm! Trying it again tonight with some chicken breasts with rib meat.
