  2. This was good but not quite as rich as some of the other caramel sauces I've tried. Thanks for posting!

  3. On 6/14/07 I made Recipe#201105 and I didn't have any ice cream topping. So,remembering seeing the photo of this recipe,I decided to try it.And OMGoodness !!!! I'm so glad I did.:)As I was stirring this, I realized it was going to be way too thin. I added a little bit of cornstarch with some water, mixed it in with the caramel sauce and it worked just fine.Didn't havethe cream ,so I used the same amount of milk. The taste was of the sauce was just so rich and creamy. This is so much better than store bought.Thank you so much for posting,This is going to be made again."Keep Smiling :)"

  4. This is one of those recipes which make you close your eyes and savour the moment. You want to serve this recipe cold so it is nice and thick. I didn't read the recipe carefully and used cold water, I don't think it would make a difference in the end. Thanks for posting Boyz5, looking forward to trying out more of your recipes !!

  5. Made this sauce for a small group I host each month, & it was a BIG hit as dip for pretzels as well as a spread for pound cake ~ Fortunately we still have some left over so I can try it on ice cream! After it was made, & still cooling down, I poured about 2 tbsp of it into a bowl & laid a square of dark chocolate on it to melt. Then I added a scoup of frozen yogurt, & that was OUTSTANDING! Many thanks for this recipe!

I am a busy single mom of 5 growing boys!! My children's ages are 21,18,14,12 and 10 1/2. In my spare time, when I have any, I try to walk 3 miles a day.I like to read Woman's World and inspirational books and if I didn't have 5 beautiful boys to care for, I would probably be doing missionary work. I live in the beautiful Okanagan Valley in British Columbia and I swear we must be living in Heaven on earth!!!I would love to travel if I had the resources and time with Brazil and South America being on the top of my list of places to see.
