Thank you for this recipe! The first time I made these, I didn't have enough rice krispies, so substituted corn flakes. They were a hit! That's how I make them every time, now. (Plus, I use butter instead of margarine.) Now, at my kids' school, I am famous for these bars!!! I totally agree, "you won't ever want to eat a plain Krispies bar again!" (I have also been in too much of a time crunch to refrigerate the caramel layer and that seems to not affect their wonderfulness.)
Excellent bars. I brought these to the office for birthday treats and they were a BIG hit. They are a simple but fabulous sweet treat.
I loved these, but agree to only use half the caramel, it was a little too much. But they were great! Thanks!

Only add about half the caramel, it was way too sweet for everyone who tried it, the caramel was a little overbearing. Otherwise, it was awesome!
