- Bring sugar, butter, syrup, and salt to a boil. Boil for 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and add baking soda. Stir well and add peanuts.
- Pour onto two large cookie sheets and bake for 1 hour at 200 degrees, stirring every 15 minutes.
