This recipe is adapted from one in the Cotton Country Cookbook. Given to me by a co-worker, it is one of her favorites!

Directions

  1. Cream butter and brown sugar together.
  2. Add eggs one at a time beating well after each addition.
  3. Add flour and baking powder; mix well.
  4. Stir in pecans, salt and vanilla.
  5. Pour into a greased and floured 13x9x2 inch baking dish.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes at 350.
  7. Cool, cut into squares and dust with powdered sugar.
