- 177.44 ml hot espresso
- 118.29 ml half-and-half
- 9.85 ml caramel syrup
- 7.39 ml cinnamon syrup
- whipped cream (optional)
- cinnamon stick (optional)
- In a serving glass or mug, combine hot espresso, half-and-half, caramel syrup and cinnamon syrup.
- Stir gently to combine.
- Garnish with whipped cream and cinnamon stick, if desired.
- Serve immediately.
Lainey - this is such a wonderful latte! I love the hint of cinnamon behind the touch of caramel and how both do not overwhelm the taste of the espresso - I want to be able to taste the coffee and this bevy allows that! I used sugar free caramel syrup and b/c I couldn't find cinnamon syrup I used ground cinnamon and frothed it with 1% milk (instead of half-half) - just trying to save some calories & fat. Goodness this was a wonderful latte treat for myself on a wind-down kinda Friday. Made for the Comfort Cafe Event Jan. 2009
Oh my gosh, I have found so many wonderful coffee's this month that I feel like I've gone to heaven. This one also gets top marks also. In an attempt to start trimming back I made this with caramel extract and a very fresh cinnamon stick as I enjoy cinnamon in my coffee without having the ground cinnamon floating on top. I used an unflavored fat free creamer for the half and half and skipped the whipped cream. I loved the espresso in this and the creamer, caramel and cinnamon make for a smooth, delicious anytime of the day or evening coffee. Thanks Lainey :D.
