Ingredients Nutrition

  • 26 caramels
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 4 medium apples, cubed
  • 3 tablespoons chopped pecans

Directions

  1. Mix caramels and water,.
  2. Melt over low heat, stirring constantly.
  3. Place apples in 4 small dishes.
  4. Top each with warm caramel and sprinkle with nuts.

Inez, this is the BEST way to enjoy caramel apples!!! Very easy and just as delicious. Actually, easier to eat this way, too. I was afraid the apples might start to get brown but they were perfect. Guess the caramel coating saved them.

This was a superb dessert. My hubby and I devoured it! My son was a little skepticle, but he finally liked it once we showed him. (He has never had caramel apples before!) THanks!

Yummy! DH and I preferred it as written. My 2 DDs preferred it with a few semi-sweet choc morsels added in. Delicious both ways!
