This is my favorite caramel apple salad! I had it posted in Quick Cooking (now called Simple and Delicious). We usually omit the marshmallows, and sometimes throw a tiny amount of chopped peanuts on top of each serving. I don't personally care for the ones made with pineapple, so this is the only one I will make! Thanks for posting it!

I used 2 Granny smiths and 2 Braeburn apples because they were so large. And that was just the right amount. You will never miss the fat or sugar with this recipe and it still taste like a caramel apple!! This was so easy to make. I used only 1 3/4 cup of milk to make the pudding just to keep the salad on the drier side. I think apples still give off some moisture when sitting in a salad. Well be making this again. Thank you Made for Pick A Chef 2006 (sorry about the late review)
