Luscious caramel apples aren't forbidden fruit when you fix them the way. Folks will never know they're eating lighter when they dip apple slices into this warm, yummy caramel-flavored dip!
- 1 (8 ounce) package reduced-fat cream cheese, cubed
- 1⁄2 cup caramel ice cream topping
- 1⁄2 cup marshmallow creme
- apple, slices
- In a microwave-safe mixing bowl, combine cream cheese and ice cream topping until blended. Add marshmallow creme; mix until blended. Microwave, uncovered, on 50% power for 1 minute; stir. Microwave 30-60 seconds longer, stirring every 15 seconds or until warm. Transfer to a serving dish. Serve immediately with apple slices.
Made this for my BF and son to enjoy w/ some green apples. They enjoyed very much. Son gave it 5 stars & BF gave 3 1/2 (not sure if he has a grasp on the rating system yet!). I give it 4 as I tried a slice with it. I wish it had been a bit thicker. Thanks for sharing.
This was very good... Kind of tasted like a carmel apple cheese cake. Thanks for this easy recipe.
You can't go wrong with these ingredients! This was a tasty apple dip, though not quite as caramely as I'd hoped. Heating it up before serving was a good idea, and I'd recommend serving this with green apples; it didn't go as well with Red Delicious.
