Where's the million star button?!?! I LOVED this ans so did DH. I admit I was hesitant at first. We tried it with no brine and tasted it on a cracker. Then we moved on to the cucumber slices and then to using it as a sandwich spread. I used a cracked pepper mao and would do that again in a minute! We followed the same path as Twissis and added more brine to the second batch. Yep, already a second batch!
I will keep this one at the top of my list since I always have the ingredients on hand.THANKS!

I made your recipe to accompany a seafood w/potatoes dinner meal. DH & I love seafood, but are products of our upbringing. He's a purist & usually eats it free of a sauce while I've always been a tartar sauce kinda girl. It's normally just not practical to make tartar sauce for 1 & I end up sprinkling tiny capers on my fish. Your little recipe uses my much-favoured capers & allows me to make a tasty, quick-fix version of tartar sauce in a volume that won't be wasted. Next time I'll add a bit of the caper brine to "zing" it up a bit more. It was served w/Halibut Onion Crunch by Bob Mullins (a long-time favourite at our table) a ZWT-8 effort, Roast Potatoes With Olives by Rita~. Thx for sharing this recipe w/us.person found this review Helpful. You can only vote others' reviews helpful or not helpful... Was this review helpful to you? Yes | No We don't know who you are. Really, what could be simpler? I often throw capers into tuna salad, but this is simpler. Also good spread on crusty bread for a turkey sandwich.person found this review Helpful.
