I had this for breakfast this summer morning and loved it. Along with the cardamom I added 1/4 tsp of ginger. I enjoyed the light touch of spice which lingered on the tongue after the sweetness of the melon had passed. It's light, lovely and simple to make. Alligirl you get a gold star. This is hands down the best cantaloupe drink that I have had on this site and I have tried many terrific cantaloupe recipes. Wow is this good. Smooth, soft, silky, sutble, perfectly spiced and sweetened. I only made half a recipe, so of course went back an hour later and made another one. I used 5 cardamom pods that I ground fresh. (love my motar and pestle) The ground cardamom really compliments the cantaloupe beautifully. Thank you for sharing a recipe that I will make often.
