Although I tweaked the recipe below, the original was found in the 2003 cookbook, Slim Smoothies.
- Place all ingredients in a blender & mix, using the on/off pulse function until mostly blended, then continue mixing, gradually increasing the speed, until the mixture is smooth.
- Pour into 2 glasses & enjoy!
I really like it! I subbed blueberries for the blackberries which worked just fine. I also used the "light" cranberry juice to lessen the calories even more. I added a couple ice cubes to the blender, but next time I will simply pre-freeze the cantaloupe. Thanks for sharing! Made as a recipenap for Veggie Swap June 2010.
A really refreshing summertime smoothie! I used unsweetened 100% cranberry juice and all fresh fruit. Delightful!
A combination I wouldn't have thought of! It wasn't too sweet, which was nice. I used frozen blackberries and canned pineapple. Thanks Syd! Made for PRMR game.
