Yum! I had a few cans of salmon from Trader Joe's that I didn't know what to do with. Made a great quick lunch! Thank you!
Great recipe for canned salmon. I love the cream cheese taste. I used sour cream instead of mayo, light cream cheese and also added some red bell pepper and olives just because I had them.
This was super easy to make. The only thing I would change is cutting down on the salt since this was way too salty. If using the canned Salmon it already has sodium in it so consider this if you try making this recipe for the first time. I will definitely try this recipe again (minus the salt).
Loved it! I didn't have any cream cheese on hand so i used light mayo and fresh ground pepper. It worked out well. I will definately be making this again. Can't wait to try it with the cheese!
We enjoyed these - the taste of the salmon is totally transformed. 5 ***** I put tomato (sliced) in the buns, on top of the filling and they were really tasty. thanks
Yummy and super easy! I added some extra (fresh ground) black pepper and left out the celery. Thanks for the recipe!
Wow! Tasty sandwiches!! Loved the cream cheese with the lemon, dill and mayo mix!! Thanks CelestialShannon! Will be making those again!! :)
Very tasty and quick recipe.
i used grilled salmon. i had to adjust the amt of mayo as canned salmon is moister. it is a lovely dish. i used brick cream cheese but actually will use whipped cream cheese next time as it mixes more easily and has a nice trexture. i added chopped scallions and omitted dill as i didnt have fresh and dont like to use dried. highly recommended easy to prepare dish.
I made this today and it is such an awesome recipe I just had to rate this. I've made a similar one with nearly all the same ingredients except it is a cheese ball that that has no dill and you add a tsp of liquid smoke. Roll into a ball and chill overnight. Roll ball in chopped walnuts mixed with parsley. Serve with crackers.
