I learned this from my dad, and we make it every Christmas! I really love them, and they are quite hard to stop eating! We put part of a batch into a few cute,little jars and give them as Christmas presents to neighbors.

Ingredients Nutrition


  1. Combine and cook sugar, water, salt, and cinnamon to 'soft ball' stage without stirring.
  2. Remove from heat, add vanilla and pecan-halves.
  3. Stir gently until the nuts are well coated and the mixture becomes creamy.
  4. Turn out on wax paper.
  5. Separate the nuts as they cool.
  6. Enjoy!
