Love me some candied bacon! ;-) The cumin is a very interesting flavor with the brown sugar and bacon, and one that I/we enjoyed very much! I'll certainly be putting this in my 'candied bacon' rotation! Thanks for sharing, breezermom!

Seems like my husband feels like bacon every other Tuesday of month. Fine with me, after all, bacon's one of my favoritest non-floral scents. Very good and made for Everyday Is A Holiday.

What can I say but YUMMY! So simple and taste awesome. I made a chicken Quesadilla with this seasoned bacon it added a great taste to this item. Made for your win in the 2010 Foot Ball Pool week 15.

Yum! This was so simple and so good. I served this along side scrambled eggs and used some the next day for Bacon and Egg Breakfast Grilled Cheese that was really good too. My grandson gave this 10 stars! Next time I think I'll drain the bacon over a rack because some of the bacon kept sticking to the paper towels. lol. Thanks breezer for a great keeper. The idea of this is great but following these instructions, it doesn't work. As I was doing it, I wondered, what happens when the fat melts and the bacon is sitting in it with its coating of brown sugar. Welp, now I know. ALl the brown sugar slides off the bacon into the melted fat and some of the brown sugar burns in the fat. Now I know!

Amazing this seems to be the latest new thing. I've been making it for years, we call it Pig Candy in the smoking world. I mix brown sugar and some ground red Hatch chile pepper, coat the slices of bacon and put them in my smoker. Good eats Maynard!!!

I love candied bacon and this delicious recipe does not disappoint. Crispy, crunchy soft, spicy and sweet, it doesn't get any better than this. Perfect served with simple french toast. Made as written but used fresh ground coriander seeds instead of ground cumin (cumin doesn't sit well with me). Will make this often. Made FYC Tag Game.
